Soy Foods ? It's more than tofu...
I assume that most people have heard of the growing popularity of soya beans, and probably are aware of the overwhelmingly healthy quality of tofu and other soyfoods. Why are foods made from soy healthy? Because they have no cholesterol, low in saturated fat, and high in protein, fiber, and calcium. Soybeans and food made from this legume such as tofu and miso, have been known to help with menopausal symptoms, weak bones (osteoporosis), heart disease and high cholesterol.
The food industry has been responding to the demand for soybeans by creating more products, and as these foods appear on the market, people have started to add more and more soy food products to their everyday diet. And what a great choice for these to people to make. By adding a wide variety of delicious soyfoods to their meals, they easily improve their state of health.
Soybeans are a wonderful food because they can be eaten in so many different ways. Maybe you've never tried soybeans, or maybe you think they are only used to make grain to feed cattle. But let me introduce you to some of the delicious foods containing soy beans.
