Unlike traditional wax candles, scented soybean candles provide a pure, crisp scent. These candles are especially useful for the use of aromatherapy, which is the use of scented compounds, such as candles and essential oils, to affect mood and health.

Understanding Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is used by people around the world to overcome depression, to alleviate stress, and to overcome many other emotional problems. Aromatherapy has also been used to relieve anxiety, decrease fear, and increase concentration.

Many also believe that aromatherapy helps with physical healing. In fact, practitioners use aromatherapy to assist in the healing bruises, burns, wounds, and scars. In addition, aromatherapy is used to assist in respiratory disorders, including those associated with sore throats, flu, colds, bronchitis, and asthma. Muscle pains, fungal infections, and skin problems are also believed to be helped through aromatherapy.

Essential oils are the primary component of aromatherapy. These can be used in the form of drops, which are sometimes included in bath water. Essential oils can also be used in diffusers are placed within candles.

The Clean Scent of Aromatherapy Soy Candles

Aromatherapy soy candles are better than traditional wax candles for aromatherapy for several reasons. First, scented soy candles are cleaner burning than wax candles. This makes for a clearer scent with less of the intrusive smell of burning wax. In addition, scented soy candles are non-toxic and produce 95% less soot than traditional candles.

The Burn Rate of Scented Soy Candles

Furthermore, scented soy candles are better than wax candles because they burn cooler than wax candles. This is because scented soy candles have a lower melting point than scented wax candles. This lower melting point helps the scent of the aromatherapy soy candles spread more quickly through the air. In addition, the low melting point of scented soy candles causes them to burn twice as long as traditional candles.

Scented soy candles are ideal for aromatherapy because they only release helpful scents, not harmful toxins and soot. Soy wax candles are also great for aromatherapy because they burn more evenly than traditional wax candles. With traditional wax candles, the wax tends to burn through the middle, creating a “tunnel.” Soy wax candles do not burn this way because of their cooler burn rate.

Types of Aromatherapy Soy Candles

Scented soy pillar candles are the type of candle most commonly used in aromatherapy, though soy votives are also used. Both soy pillar candles and soy votives are available in a wide variety of scents and colors. In addition, both of these scented soy candles can be easily made at home using candle making kits.

No matter the type of scented soy candle used, the results of these candles when used for aromatherapy or for other purposes is outstanding as the quality of soy wax candles is unsurpassed by all other forms of candles.
